New AI services to simplify your texts

The Commission is expanding its AI-based language services with WebText and Accessible Text, 2 innovative tools that transform complex content into clear, understandable language, depending on the audience. These services join eTranslation, eBriefing and eReply under the Digital Europe Programme.

What do they do?

  • WebText restructures and simplifies content for websites aimed at the general public, following clear writing principles. It currently supports English, French and German, with more languages to follow.
  • Accessible Text creates a first draft of easy-to-read content for people with intellectual disabilities or more severe reading difficulties, using short sentences and plain language. It is available only in English for now, with more languages to follow.

Both services can be accessed through a user-friendly interface or integrated via an API (machine-to-machine connection).

Who can use them?

These AI tools are available to EU institutions, public administrations, academia, SMEs, NGOs, Digital Europe Programme projects and EPSO candidates

Try these AI services and make your messages clearer for everyone!
