Watch: Frozen trees snap in Ontario ice storm

More than 350,000 Canadians faced power cuts in Southern Ontario as an ice storm moved through the region over the weekend.

Footage shows ice-coated trees, parks and homes in Orillia, a city that declared a state of emergency on Sunday because of the storm.

City officials described the situation as “very serious”.
