Passengers evacuate plane on snowy tarmac amid storm

A Delta Airlines flight travelling from Atlanta, Georgia to Minneapolis, Minnesota was suspended shortly after takeoff due to “an indication of an engine issue,” the airline said.

Passengers were forced to evacuate the airplane on a snow-covered tarmac amid a winter storm.

At least four passengers reported minor injuries with one taken to hospital. The Federal Aviation Administration says will investigate the case. More than 2,600 flights across the country had been suspended Friday due to a storm.
