The headline acts for next year’s Download music festival have been confirmed.

American punk rock veterans Green Day, British band Sleep Token and Korn will all be topping the bill for the first time.

Other acts announced include Cradle of Filth, The Darkness, Jimmy Eat World and Weezer.

The festival is set to take place at Donington Park, Leicestershire, between 13 and 15 June next year.

Next year’s lineup was announced at a launch event in London on Tuesday night.

Festival booker Andy Copping said the 22nd edition of Download will have “something for truly everyone”.
