Britpop band Cast to support Oasis on 2025 tour

Indie rock band Cast have announced that they will be supporting Oasis on their upcoming tour.

The Liverpool band, who were part of the Britpop explosion in the 1990s, are the second support act to be revealed for the reunion tour.

The band, led by frontman John Power, will join Oasis for the 19 sold-out shows of the UK and Ireland leg of the worldwide tour.

Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve, has also been announced as a support act.

Announcing the news, Cast said: “We are delighted to confirm that we will be supporting Oasis.

“We can’t wait to see you all for these biblical shows.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher will kick off their long-awaited 2025 reunion tour in July.

It will be the first time the Gallagher brothers have performed together since 2009.

Beginning in Cardiff, Oasis will also play further dates in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
