Granny who won a house with a £25 raffle ticket puts it on the market for £4.5 million

A grandmother is selling a £4.5 million house she won in a raffle three months ago.

June Smith bought a £25 ticket for the Omaze prize draw.

The house is a stunning three storey home overlooking the Fowey Estuary in Cornwall.

The property came mortgage free and the stamp duty and legals fees all paid for.

Mrs Smith, a widow, is selling the six-bedroomed property to help her children.

She said:

“I want to help my children with the next chapter in their lives.

“Winning this house has been an incredible experience.

“I still can’t believe it all actually happened to me.

“It still feels so surreal.

“However, I want to enjoy at least one family holiday here before I put it on the market.”
