Madonna has postponed her world tour after being struck down with a “serious bacterial infection”.
The 64-year-old global star is in intensive care in New York City.
She was found “unresponsive” in her hotel room.
She is expected to make a “full recovery”.
Her manager Guy Oseary posted on social media:
“Her health is improving; however she is still under medical care.
“At this time, we will need to pause all commitments.
“We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
The singer was intubated for at least one night, Page Six reported.
Her daughter Lourdes Leon is thought to have been with her during her illness.
