A 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 owned by Hollywood legend Steve McQueen is up for sale.
The flame red car is said to be one of the marque’s most desirable Ferrari models.
McQueen, renowned for racing cars and motorbikes, owned the car for four years.
The 275 GTB/4 was brought back to its original “McQueen” specification by Ferrari Classiche – the Ferrari in-house restoration service.
Since then, it has been displayed in Ferrari’s official museum in Maranello.
The car is being auctioned by London based Sotheby’s in August.
It has an estimate of £6 million.
Gord Duff, of RM Sotheby’s, said:
“We’re thrilled to announce the former Steve McQueen 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 as our first major consignment, a perfect car to kickstart the coming line-up.”
