Met Police dogged by racism, sexism, and homophobia claims new report

Library: Scotland Yard

The Metropolitan Police is dogged by racism, sexism and homophobia – a damning report will reveal.

It adds the force has failed to change despite being told to.

The report was commissioned after the kidnap, rape, and murder of Sarah Everard by serving police officer Wayne Couzens.

The Guardian newspapers reports the findings have been sent to the Met and the Government.

Talks have been held between the police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley and the Home Secretary Suella Braverman.

The report calls into account current and past leadership.

Recently retired Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick is expected to shoulder some blame.

But shortcomings predate her term in charge.
