Manchester City defender Kyle Walker could be investigated after he appeared to “flash himself” while drinking in a busy bar.
The England player was caught on camera hours after his team had beaten Newcastle United 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
The City players had been given two days by manager pep Guardiola.
Walker, 32, faces charges after the incident was reported to Cheshire Police.
It’s alleged in The Sun that Walker turned up at the bar already “unsteady” on his feet.
He was with a blonde and male friends.
After drinking beers and shots – rattling up a £250 bill – Walker is said to have exposed himself twice to two women who were sitting in a booth.
He then went over and introduced himself.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said:
“On Wednesday 8 March, Cheshire police were made aware of a video circulating on social media in relation to an indecent exposure which allegedly occurred in the Wilmslow area.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are in the early stages and no arrests have been made at this time.”
It is expected the player will be interviewed.
He could face charges under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
If found guilty he could be punished by unlimited imprisonment or fines.
Walker could face disciplinary action by Guardiola and the England manager Gareth Southgate.
