Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been given a £510,00 advance for an autobiography.
The sum is declared in Parliament’s Register of Members’ Interests.
The book will cover his tumultuous time in Number 10 during the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the Partygate scandal.
Mr Johnson recently received £500,00 to author a book about William Shakespeare.
Writing books about time in office has proved lucrative for outgoing PMs.
Labour’s Tony Blair was handed £4.6 million for his book “A Journey”.
Former Conservative PM David Cameron was said to have earned £1.5million for his memoir, “For The Record”.
